Dr. William S. Ketcham is the founder of Azalea Skin Treatment Center. Dr. Ketcham received his medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.  He completed his internal medicine residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC and his dermatology residency and fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Dr. Ketcham is married and has two children.  He and his family live in Cary.  He enjoys golfing and carpentry. 

Shelley has been a nurse practitioner with Azalea Skin Treatment Center since November, 2000.  She began her health care career in 1993 as a registered nurse (RN) after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill.  She worked as an RN at Duke University Medical Center and the UNC School of Dentistry before completing her Masters degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2000.  Shelley has specialized in dermatology ever since and enjoys seeing patients of all ages with all types of skin problems.

Shelley is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, the Dermatology Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International (Honor Society of Nursing).

Shelley is married and has two young daughters.  She and her family live in Chapel Hill.  They enjoy spending time outdoors and cheering on the Tar Heels.

Cathy has been a nurse practitioner with Azalea Skin Treatment Center since December 2001.  She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  During her nursing career, she served as an officer in both the US Navy and the US Public Health Service.  She received both a Master of Science degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Post-Master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from UNC-Chapel Hill.  She holds national certifications in both areas. 

Cathy is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, the Dermatology Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International (Honor Society of Nursing).

Cathy is married and has two college-age children.  She and her family live in Garner.  Cathy enjoys knitting and reading.
