William S. Ketcham, M.D.

Dr. William S. Ketcham is the founder of Azalea Skin Treatment Center. Dr. Ketcham received his medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his internal medicine residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC and his dermatology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Cathy M. Poole, FNP, DNCP

Cathy has been a nurse practitioner with Azalea Skin Treatment Center since December 2001. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. During her nursing career, she served as an officer in both the US Navy and the US Public Health Service. She received both a Master of Science degree as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Post-Master's certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Crystal R. Thornton, FNP

Crystal has been a nurse practitioner at Azalea Skin Treatment Center since August 2009. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Wilmington in 2004. She has worked as a nurse in multiple areas, including cardiac and emergency services. She then completed her Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UNC Wilmington in 2009, specializing in dermatology.

Crystal lives in Clayton with her husband and two children.  Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and two dogs. Crystal enjoys educating patients on various skin conditions and preventative meaures they can take.  She also loves helping patient understand the imporatnce of sun protection and skin cancer screening.

Lenore "Lee" Henry, LC, CMA

Lee has been with Azalea Skin Treatment Center since 2008. She is a Licensed Cosmetologist since 1984 and a graduate of Johnston Community College since 2007. She has an associate's in Applied Science and Certificate for Medical Assisting. She is also a member of the AAMA. She has completed the Aesthetics Training program from Glytone for Skin Rejuvenation, Chemical Peels and continued education on Product Knowledge.

When Lee is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, gardening, and cooking.

Shelley K. Bunting, FNP

Shelley has been a nurse practitioner at Azalea Skin Treatment Center since November, 2000, with the exception of a two year hiatus where she worked as a school nurse and nurse practitioner in the public school system. Shelley graduated from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree in 1993 and a master's degree in 2000. Shelley enjoys helping patients and families learn about and manage their various skin conditions. She is also passionate about skin cancer prevention/screening through education and annual skin exams.

Shelley is a member of:

  • The North Carolina Nurses Association
  • The American Nurses Association
  • Sigma Theta Tau International (Honor Society of Nursing)

Shelley lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys traveling, spending time at Lake Gaston and hanging around the horse barn!
